Kaiser Aircraft Receives Contract with United States Army

Kaiser Aircraft Industries Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaiser Group International Inc., have been awarded a five-year contract with the Aviation Applied Technology Directorate of the United States Army for work on the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter. The contract contains provisions to perform parts manufacturing, kitting, and installation of a transition door modification for up to 800 kits and 560 helicopters.

Kaiser Aircraft, with executive offices and facilities in Birmingham, AL, performs parts manufacturing, maintenance and modification of aircraft that currently include C-130, C-12, RC-12, and the UC-35. The company is a registered small business, Part 145 Repair Station, operating in a hangar facility in excess of 1.2 million square feet with complete fabrication, paint, and de-paint capability.
