Wyoming, Michigan – Industrial Innovations, a manufacturer of industrial lubrication equipment for operation in metalworking industries, is acquiring Advance Products Corp.’s automation division, known for its die-casting solutions. The new entity will do business as Advance Automation and branded as “an Industrial Innovations Company.”
“This acquisition leverages the best solutions of both companies to deliver a higher level of capability to our customers,” said Industrial Innovations’ president Troy Turnbull. “With this depth of product and application experience, we can be a one-stop shop for automation and lubrication solutions across the die-casting, foundry and metalworking industries.”
“As a family-owned business transitioning to the next generation, we made an informed decision to concentrate on the sales of our consumables line,” said Advance President, John Kraklau. “Going forward, we believe that Industrial Innovations, with its extensive lubrication management experience, will do an excellent job of maintaining the quality of the Advance Automation brand.”
All Industrial Innovations operations are being consolidated within a single location. The company is moving its operations from its location in Wyoming, Mich., to a much larger facility in Grandville, Mich., in order to accommodate the company’s acquisition of Advance Products’ automation division.
“We have basically doubled our workload and number of employees with the addition of the Advance Products line,” said Industrial Innovations president and owner Troy Turnbull. “This new facility will enable us to better accommodate our customer needs as well as provide us with room to grow.”
At 20,000ft2, the new facility nearly triples Industrial Innovations’ former space. The company will occupy the new space by March 25.
