Process Innovations: How to Stay Ahead in a Competitive Word with MILLTURN Technology

Plan to attend the IMTS 2016 Conferences to get an eye-opening look at special machining.

Chicago, Illinois - When we talk of multitasking machines, we mean flexible, all-around machines – with emphasis on flexibility. Only in this way can the users’ demand for economical production even in small lots be fulfilled, by drastically cutting or even totally eliminating retooling times in the production of complicated and close-toleranced parts. Shorter product life cycles, decreasing batch sizes, shorter cycle times, reduction of stocks, downsizing of the working capital – these are the trends which confront machine tool manufacturers with ever greater challenges and therefore WFL is presenting benefits of this special machining concept by the example of a MILLTURN machine tool.
Multitasking machining is engaging a big field of diverse applications. The latest trends in multitasking machining technologies will be presented as well. The audience will get an overview of the various technologies a multitasking machine can offer.
