Alternative Manufacturing: Integration of 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing (AM) into Production

Attend the IMTS 2016 Conferences and learn about additive manufacturing for the automotive, aerospace, energy, and medical markets.

Chicago, Illinois - Acceptance of Additive Manufacturing is accelerating throughout numerous industry sectors from aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical, and oil & gas. Companies are creating enhanced products that leverage the functional design and creative complexity capable with these technologies. As Additive Manufacturing continues to proliferate in acceptance and incorporation through these industries, the challenge becomes how to integrate AM into existing manufacturing operations such that the companies can support the demand. Many risks exist in establishing Additive Manufacturing within a new or existing company, ranging from adherence to specifications and standards, thermal processing, post-processing, and dimensional and quality verification. Methods3D has established an organization dedicated to assisting companies in mitigating these risks by providing full turnkey solutions.
