Session Topic: Demystifying the Relationship Between Material Management, Cost Management, and Cash Management
Time: Monday, Sept. 8. 11:00 AM - 11:55 AM
Room: W-195
Speaker: Harold Katz, Technology Enabler, Marketing Manager, SYSPRO USA
It is a known fact that many solid businesses effectively weather long spiraling downward economic trends. The good years padded the coffers for the bad times. These solid businesses become extremely vulnerable when the economy picks up and the business has to be revitalized to meet the renewed demand and economic upturn. It is during these critical growth phases where cash is low or depleted and a business is faced with growth, that the relationship between Inventory, Cash and Costs becomes critical. So many businesses are traded into insolvency in a recovering economy, because they run out of cash. This presentation will effectively identify and highlight; this symbiotic relationship between material, costs and cash and the requirement for an effective integrated ERP system, like SYSPRO, so that mid market businesses can effectively navigate out of recessionary times into sustainable profitability.
