Hyundai WIA America Corp. celebrated the grand opening of its West Coast Solution Center in Cypress, Calif., with a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 24. The two-day ceremony featured a parade of machine displays, including a F500 Value Master vertical machining center and L150A turning center.
The new solution center features a showroom with capacity for up to eight CNC machine tools, on display and under power, for live demonstrations, as well as space for machine tool integration and customer events focused on education and training.
I.C. Lee, president of Hyundai WIA, and members of the company’s management staff cut the ribbon to mark the center’s opening.
“Any building or distributor can have a show room filled with demo machines,” says David Barber, director of marketing at the company. “Our thrust here is to encourage our customers to bring us their most challenging jobs, and we’ll work hand-in-hand – from part design and material selection to process design and execution – to find the most efficient, cost-effective method to make their part.”
