Hertzler Systems Inc. is currently offering a free 45-day trial of its GainSeeker software for automated statistical process control. The GainSeeker system allows for the collection and reporting of data involving all kinds of business, financial and manufacturing functions.
“We’ve initiated this free trial because it’s the best way for a company to really appreciate what our SPC software can do. Our customers are constantly amazed at how easy it is to use and thrilled by the real time data they are able to obtain for quality control and management purposes,” says Evan Miller, president and CEO of the company. “The set-up process for the software trial in itself demonstrates the ease at which the program can be customized for the needs of a particular business.”
Any manager or data collection personnel can implement the free trial in a simple one-day procedure, even without an IT person around. This involves an initial phone interview with a Hertzler representative to determine a customized fit in terms of the kind of data being collected, how it is entered, and how it is displayed. The software can then be downloaded and initial data entered with Hertzler’s guidance, followed by a two-hour training session. The trial software has a shelf life of 45 days.
“The benefits of this type of customized data collection and analysis will become quickly apparent,” says Miller. He noted a website example of one quality manager who installed the Hertzler system, set up the data entry process, and learned how to collect, analyze and report critical quality metrics. By the end of his training session he was already responding to real-time alarms and trends.
"The trial makes it easy for new users to wrap their arms around all the ways GainSeeker Suite can help them. It is a great education tool for a start-up or any business looking to get a better measure of how their processes are working,” Miller says.
