Hartwig Inc. has recently been named the exclusive distributor of GF AgieCharmilles wire and diesinking EDM machines for the state of Texas.
Along with this expansion, officials at the company have announced that former North Star Machinery Owner, Jeremy Kirby, has joined the company as a technical sales engineer. In this new role, he will initially concentrate on selling and supporting GF AgieCharmilles EDM machines in Texas.
“We are very excited to have Jeremy’s EDM experience and technical expertise as part of Hartwig’s sales engineering team,” states Geoff Hartwig, business development officer. “His ability to understand and solve diverse customer applications along with his well-established relationships will help take us to the next level with regards to supporting EDM customers in Texas and ultimately our remaining footprint.”
With this addition, North Star Machinery (Kingwood, Texas) has halted its operations of distributing the GF AgieCharmilles machine tools and consumables, but Hartwig says existing customers will still get the service they request.
“With the strength and knowhow of both Jeremy and Hartwig’s more than 160 employees, we will be successfully prepared to support current customers and those in the future,” Hartwig concludes.
Hartwig is now the exclusive distributor for GF AgieCharmilles machine tools and consumables in Texas. All existing North Star Machinery customers can refer service, support, and parts requests to Hartwig at info@hartwiginc.com.
