Post, record, like, share, retweet, tag – These growing forms of online communications have been helping our industry reach a larger audience and stay connected with loyal customers. More than ever, social media and multimedia platforms have been integral tools for successful marketing. And as we get adjusted to spending more time indoors amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic, we have been able to find even more unique ways to stay connected digitally.
In celebration of these efforts, GIE Media’s Manufacturing Group is excited to open nominations for the annual Social Media Awards Program – highlighting the best use of online platforms in the manufacturing and metalworking industries. We began recognizing social media stars at IMTS 2016 and later went on to expand our program to off-IMTS years as well. We've honored several companies that have strategically used their digital platforms to display new technologies, inform potential customers, build brand awareness, and connect with other leaders to meet business needs.
This year's awards will recognize nominees based on the following categories:
- LinkedIn – Best B2B Thought Leadership Content
- Facebook – Best Use of Content for Community Engagement
- Twitter – Excellent Customer-Focused Content
- YouTube – Best Channel
- YouTube – Best Individual Video
- Digital Leader of the Year
- Best Use of Digital/Technology
- Best Website
- Most Strategic Social Media Campaign
Now is your opportunity to nominate a company you see as a leading user of social media. Finalists will be notified by early August 2020. All recipients will be honored during a special awards presentation that will take place at IMTS 2020 in Chicago, Illinois.
Winners will be selected by the editorial staff at GIE Media Inc. Deadline to submit entries is July 20, 2020.
