Singapore – Colorful Guizhou Airlines in China has reached a 10-year OnPoint solution agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of the CF34-10E engine fleet powering its seven Embraer 190 aircraft. The agreement is valued at more than $56 million over the life of the agreement.
“We are pleased Colorful Guizhou Airlines selected GE as its MRO provider,” said Kevin McAllister, president of GE Aviation Services. “Our Services team will support the airline and ensure its CF34-10E engines retain their excellent operating condition while focusing on lowering the cost of ownership, which will help Colorful Guizhou be successful in the long run.”
Based in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou Province, Colorful Guizhou Airlines will operate on trunk and regional routes for passenger and freighter service. The airline placed a firm order of seven E190s at the 2015 Paris Air Show.

These agreements are designed to help lower the customers' cost of ownership and maximize the use of their assets. Backed by GE's global support network, OnPoint services may include overhaul, on wing support, new and used-serviceable parts, component repair, technology upgrades, engine leasing, integrated systems support, and diagnostics and integrated systems.
