Boeing and Garuda Indonesia have celebrated the arrival of the airline's first 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircraft in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The long-haul, twin-aisle airplane is the first of 10 777-300ERs delivered to the airline and is a key component of the Garuda Indonesia's Quantum Leap fleet revitalization program.
"The 777 is an extraordinary airplane that will bring a new level of experience for our first and business class passengers," says Emirsyah Satar, president director of Garuda Indonesia.
The airline configured its new 777-300ERs with eight first-class suites, 38 business-class seats and 268 seats in economy class. The aircraft is also equipped with in-flight internet connectivity.

The 777-300ERs are equipped with GE90-115B engines, and can fly up to 7,825nm (14,490km).
