Tamarac, Florida – Future Metals, a worldwide specialty metals distributor to the aerospace manufacturing and maintenance industry, recently opened its ninth metals service center. Located at 4736 Wadsworth Road in Dayton, Ohio, the 28,000ft2 warehouse is a satellite location of the company's larger Tamarac, Fla., sales office and warehouse.
The new Dayton facility, which officially opened its doors in January 2014, provides aerospace manufacturing and aftermarket customers in the Midwestern United States with localized inventory and just-in-time deliveries. Products being carried include stainless, nickel, titanium and aluminum tubing as well as extrusions, sheet and bar products. Five saws, two side loaders and a fork lift are used to process orders and provide value added services.
"Opening our Dayton service center demonstrates Future Metals' focus on increasing value for customers through total supply chain solutions, such as customized inventory management programs and a variety of value added products and services," explains Future Metals Dayton operations manager David Wallace.
Future Metals and its affiliate companies, including Marmon/Keystone LLC, are Marmon Distribution Services/Berkshire Hathaway companies and members of The Marmon Group, an international association of more than 150 business units that operate independently within diverse business sectors.
