Rochester Hills, Michigan – Fanuc America Corp. is adding a new manufacturing/distribution center to Pontiac, Michigan, and shuffling office locations elsewhere as part of a North American expansion of its robotics, automation, and CNC equipment businesses.
In addition to the new Michigan plant, Fanuc will:
- Open sales and service facilities in Seattle, Washington; Monterrey, Mexico; and Manaus, Brazil
- Relocate customer service offices from Dallas, Texas, to Houston; and Mexico City, Mexico, to Queretaro, Mexico
- Merge sales and service offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to a larger facility
- Enhance training centers at offices in San Francisco, California; Chicago, Illinois; and Charlotte, North Carolina

Company officials expect to complete its capacity expansions in North and South America by July, 2016
