Edinburgh, UK – Exova’s Santa Fe Springs, California, laboratory will undertake a range of mechanical testing at various temperatures on metallic transmission materials to provide Boeing with key performance parameters.
The work is the latest in a relationship between Exova and the Boeing Apache program that stretches back over 30 years to the aircraft’s inception in the early 1970s.
Rocco Morro, Exova’s executive vice president of aerospace in the Americas said: “We are proud to support Boeing in the ongoing development of the Apache. Our testing has helped to advance materials performance ensuring the aircraft remains at the very forefront of military aviation worldwide.”
