Eurotech releases 2014 training schedule

Eurotech’s schedule for April-December 2014 training is as follows: 

 

For more than 20 years Eurotech has offered FREE lifetime training to its customers. “We have found this to be an important factor in helping our customers become profitable. Thousands of CNC machinists have trained at our free Eurotech College,” said CEO Joe Selway. 

 

Goal of 2014 Classes: Classes will be taught by programming instructor, expert since 1984, Larry Greenawalt. The goal of the class is to cover the fundamentals of multi-axis programming and to inspire new and unique ideas for processing complex turned and milled parts. Programming manuals are used as a guideline for instruction and to help identify where much of the information is located. The focus of the class is more on formatting and specific application examples designed to create the best efficient program with the fastest throughput.

 

Class Agenda: Day one of training is titled, Better Basics, a review of short cut programming features and many standard features commonly overlooked. Day two covers C-axis live tools, sub spindle and completing parts in one machine cycle. Day three covers four axis, plus two turrets and two spindles. Registration: **Classes are free to all Eurotech original buyers. ** Class registration is $350 per day for those who are not original buyers. Students should already have two axis lathe programming ability. You can register for a class by email, phone or fax.
