Souderton, Pennsylvania – Ed Engelhard has been promoted to Solar Atmospheres’ vice president of corporate quality. Engelhard has been with the company for more than three years serving as corporate quality manager.
In his new role, Engelhard will oversee the long range planning and support of quality functions at the company’s four heat treat and brazing facilities. His responsibilities include the direction and management of corporate resources to plan various quality endeavors, provide technical support to site quality managers, and coordinate strategic initiatives among the various facilities and departments to facilitate compliance to quality requirements and continual improvement in process quality and customer performance metrics.
Edward is an active participant in Nadcap, MedAccred and various industry technical committees.
