Emuge, Open Mind to hold seminar on advanced 5-axis milling

Emuge Corp.  and Open Mind Technologies USA Inc. are teaming up to hold a complimentary technical seminar on advanced strategies for 5-axis milling at Emuge North American corporate headquarters and new, state-of-the-art Technology Center located at 1800 Century Drive in West Boylston, MA 01583, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. on Oct. 4, 2017. Manufacturing professionals are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Experts from Emuge and Open Mind will present strategies on how to reduce cycle times and improve part quality by leveraging today's latest CAM software and end mills to maximize 5-axis machining. During morning discussions and live machining demonstrations in the afternoon on a Hurco 5-axis machining center, attendees will see first-hand how Emuge's new Trochoidal and Circle Segment End Mills in addition to Open Mind hyperMILL MAXX machining performance package can offer significant productivity gains when roughing and finishing. A Q&A session and tour of Emuge's new tool reconditioning operation will conclude the seminar.
