Grenoble, France – e2v executives have announced the official MIL-PRF-30535 class V (QMLV) certification of its facilities based in Grenoble, France – the highest standard of quality and reliability for aerospace-grade microelectronics and integrated circuits.
The QMLV certification is a United States military performance-based specification document that defines the general requirements, as well as the quality assurance and reliability requirements, for the manufacturers of microelectronic or integrated circuits used in military applications and high-reliability microcircuit application programs. Class V of the QML certification, which e2v’s facilities have been awarded, means the facilities have been subjected to and passed all applicable requirements for space level products.
Laurent Monge, vice president of semiconductors, commented, “e2v is committed to providing high-reliability and superior performance products for the aerospace market and receiving our QMLV certification underpins our dedication to achieve this. We are delighted to have met and passed the criteria and performances required and plan to list our QMLV rated products in the near future.”
