OAGIS subject-matter expert to highlight real-world successes Nov. 13, 2014.

Foster City, California – E2open, a provider of cloud-based solutions for collaborative planning and execution across global trading networks, will be participating in the 2014 Open Applications Group (OAGi) Plenary Meeting, which takes place on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, in Redwood City, California. Hosted by Oracle, the OAGi meeting will feature a session titled, "Cross-Industry Use Cases for OAGIS in the Cloud," with Ian Hedges, vice president, Platform at E2open, which will be held from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (PT). During this session, Hedges will highlight recent customer integration use cases leveraging the OAGi Specification (OAGIS).

For many businesses, connecting trading partners is both expensive and time-consuming due to the vast scope of mapping data and transactions between companies for mission-critical processes. To address this issue, E2open's library of productized maps are deployed to speed data transformation across industry standards, such as X12, EDIFACT, RosettaNet, Chem eStandards, OAGIS and others. E2open also provides proprietary connectors to tap into customers' ERP and TMS systems, providing them with open, cross-industry and cross-standard interoperability. These reusable canonicals and map assets, coupled with the web-based user interface of the E2 Cloud Connectivity solution, allow the E2open onboarding team, or any of the company's certified systems integrator partners, to implement comprehensive supply chain business-to-business (B2B) integration projects.

The 2014 OAGi Meeting will be held at the Oracle Conference Center located at 350 Oracle Parkway in Redwood City, California. There is no cost for OAGi members to attend, and the fee for non-members is $325.
