Torrington, Connecticut –Dymax Corp.’s SpeedMask 718 is formulated to provide excellent surface and cavity protection during APS and HVOF coating processes, aiding in the manufacturing, overhaul, repair, and rework of turbine engine blades, vanes, and other turbine components. The masking resin cures quickly when exposed to UV/visible light and forms a hard, durable, protective covering on a variety of surfaces including nickel alloys and high-temperature steel.
