DooCell Turning Center

The robot cell control and diagnostic system allows operators to assess performance and diagnose problems, such as bad switches, grippers not closing, and other conditions.

The most distinguishing feature of the Doocell from Doosan Infracore America is its robot cell control and diagnostic system.  Its simple design and operating features eliminate the day-to-day need for complex robot pendants, allowing the operator to assess performance and diagnose problems, such as grippers not closing on a part, a bad switch in the system, the chuck failing to open, and other conditions that might arise.  Teach the robot three pick points, and it’s ready to go.

The status and diagnostic system has been designed for maximum convenience.  Its configuration enables personnel to monitor a cell from a single screen, and its touch-screen design eliminates keyboards.

In addition to the convenience of the status and diagnostic system, DooCell’s layout allows the robot arm to reach stock and parts in even the most remote sections of the pallet, and it does so without the need for cumbersome, maintenance-intensive drawers and trays.  The result is a compact design that, when encased in a cage, measures 77” x 77” excluding the machine tool.  Equipped with either a Fanuc M10 or M20, the robot can lift parts up to 7 lb or 12 lb.
