Delcam Adds to Post-Sales Support Team

Mike Hiller, Rob Kobielski join the team after Delcam's record year in 2012.

Delcam has added two new members to its post-sales support team in Windsor, Ontario.

Mike Hiller and Rob Kobielski will join the team after a record year for Delcam in North America in  2012, which saw software and maintenance sales increase more than 25%. Officials for Delcam say they expect further growth this year.

“We are very lucky to have found not one but two extremely talented individuals for our growing support team,” says Gordon Maxwell, application support manager at Delcam North America. “The dramatic growth in sales we have experienced in the last eighteen months has prompted us to add more people to continue to provide our customers with the high-quality support they have come to expect.”

Before joining Delcam, Kobielski was a Secondary School Technological Studies teacher with Kincardine District Secondary School, where he taught courses in manufacturing, construction, and technological design. He was also the faculty advisor and coach to Kincardine & District Secondary School’s world finalist robotics team. Prior to teaching, Kobielski worked in manufacturing industry for six years as a CNC machinist and mould designer, with specialized skills in CAD, CAM, and CNC.

Hiller has worked for the last 13 years as a general machinist with leading companies in the plastics-manufacturing and systems-integration industries. Hiller experience working in one of the largest tool and die areas in the world has enabled him to become highly proficient with Delcam’s PowerMILL CAM system for high-speed and 5-axis machining and PowerSHAPE CAD software for tooling design.
