Montreal, Canada – CSA Group, a global provider of testing and certification services and a standards development organization, has expanded its state-of-the-art mechanical laboratory in Montreal, Canada, adding new aerospace and personal protective equipment services to help clients reach global markets.
The state-of-the-art, expanded and modernized laboratory is able to conduct a variety of testing to Canadian, ASTM, and ANSI standards. Recent expansions to the laboratory include a controlled environment testing chamber, a new helmet impact tower, a new safety shoes impact tower, new compression testing equipment and a projectile cannon for visor testing.

CSA Group is now offering product evaluations and EMC testing for the aerospace industry and has hired an industry expert to provide service. The Montreal lab will continue to add capacity over the next few years to serve this important industry. Montreal is a global hub for the aerospace industry with key players in corporate, academic, and research sectors all concentrated in the region.
