Burbank, California – Crane’s Mark IV Brake Control System upgrade has been selected by Royal Netherlands Air Force for the C-130H aircraft. The brake control system will be provided by Crane’s foreign military distributor, Aero Precision, a Greenwich AeroGroup company. Sebnem Flores, director of European sales at Aero Precision stated, “We are excited that one of our most valued customers – Royal Netherlands – is the first international operator to upgrade their C-130H fleet with this innovative product.” The install will be completed by the end user, Royal Netherlands Air Force, at Eindhoven airbase.
Crane’s more advanced Mark IV Brake Control System is already being flown by all C-130J operators and is available through Aero Precision for upgrade to foreign military C-130 aircraft. Crane has provided this same advanced Mark IV Brake Control system to the United States Air Force as an upgrade to all C-130E/H aircraft.
Crane’s brake control system is designed to enhance operational safety and efficiency while reducing maintenance and troubleshooting hours due to the Fault Isolation Display Unit. The system offers improved braking efficiencies leading to shorter, more controlled stopping with either carbon or steel brakes.
