Concept Machine Tool named Fives Machining Systems distributor

Fond du Lac, Wisconsin – Concept Machine Tool Sales Inc. (CMT) has been appointed distributor of Fives Machining Systems for Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska. The full-service machine tool distributor, with offices in Minneapolis and Delafield, Wisconsin, will distribute all products for Fives Cincinnati, Fives Giddings & Lewis and Fives Liné Machines in the six-state area. “We’re excited about the opportunity to represent the products of these leading North American machine tool builders,” said Bob Jurack, CMT general manager. 

 

Fives designs and builds machine tools, process equipment and production lines for a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment, oil and gas, and energy. Fives metal cutting solutions include machine tools for cutting, turning, and milling very large parts and tough-to-cut materials, while its composites processing equipment enables production of a variety of complex parts.

 

CMT was started in 1974 and its team includes sales engineers, applications engineers, field service technicians, and administrative support. “Concept Machine Tool has established a reputation for industry-leading sales and service programs,” said Jason Melcher, director of sales, North America. “Its sales and applications engineers know these markets very well and we think they will be a great fit for Fives in the U.S.”
