CHIRON Becomes Importer of STAMA Machining Centers

"Broadens Our Engineering Possibilities"

CHIRON America Inc., the North American leader in providing custom engineered vertical machining solutions, is now the official importer of STAMA machining centers for the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

As part of the Hoberg & Driesch group of companies, both CHIRON and STAMA have a thorough mutual understanding of the solutions and offerings that each can provide. STAMA’s System 7 and System 8 machining centers offer a wide range of application possibilities. With large work envelopes, mill & turn access, and the ability to handle larger workpieces, as well as complex bar applications; the addition of STAMA’s machining systems will compliment CHIRON’s current product line by offering a more diverse range of capabilities.

“Providing customers with the most effective, comprehensive manufacturing solution is our goal at CHIRON America. This move will enable us to utilize the strengths of both companies, which broadens our engineering possibilities,” says Dirk Zikeli, CEO of CHIRON America. Crispin Taylor, managing director of STAMA adds, “Our machining centers fit perfectly into CHIRON’s product line. With CHIRON America’s organization and engineering depth, there is no better partner for STAMA in North America.”

In addition to sales, CHIRON America will serve as the dedicated North American service and support hub for STAMA.
