Coventry, UK-based CFS Aeroproducts Ltd., an aircraft component repair and overhaul firm, has merged with Wokingham’s Aero Engineering & Powerplant Ltd. (AEP). The purpose of the merger is to deliver an even greater level of customer service and for the two companies to put themselves at the forefront of the aerospace sector.
Under the terms of the agreement, AEP’s plant and equipment has been moved to the CFS factory.
Neil Andrews, former owner of AEP and now engineering director of CFS, says: “As a result of this merger, our combined skills and equipment will ensure we have a genuine center of engineering excellence in the UK.”
CFS Aeroproducts specializes in the overhaul of propellers, landing gear and instruments. The acquisition means that the company has significantly improved its capabilities, particularly in the areas of fuel systems, turbo charger components and propeller governors.
