Winter Springs, Florida – CAMCAD Technologies Inc., a Central Florida-based provider of innovative manufacturing solutions, has been recognized as the number one North American SURFCAM value-added reseller (VAR) for two months straight (August and September) and takes top position within the U.S. for the third quarter 2014. The company is also ranked second worldwide, among resellers as of Sept. 30, 2014.
SURFCAM is a 3-D CAM product to help milling and metal-cutting businesses become more productive and profitable. In February, Vero Software acquired SURFCAM from SURFWARE Inc. Since that time, SURFCAM has released three versions of software, with the latest version of 2015 R1 coming soon.
“We are very pleased to see our reseller channel achieved record sales in September 2014,” said Peter Marton, general manager for SURFCAM. “With that in mind, CAMCAD’s finish on top in September is even more notable. CAMCAD is consistently in the top two or three resellers worldwide, which is due to the support and technical expertise they provide to each one of their customers, large or small.”
Founded in 1991, CAMCAD Technologies provides companies with CAM software, edit-free post processors, custom applications, reverse engineering, and contract part programming. CAMCAD Technologies has consistently been ranked as a top reseller for the past 20 years.
“This recognition is a testament to our technical team’s hard work and commitment to position CAMCAD as a trusted partner for the machining industry,” said Alison Wildblood, CEO of CAMCAD Technologies. “We have seen our customers continue to grow and recommend SURFCAM and CAMCAD to their friends in the manufacturing industry, and we are grateful for each one.”
