Swiss Precision Instruments (SPI), a provider of high-quality precision measuring products for over 50 years, has announced a new "Certified Right Out of the Box" program for its extensive line of measuring instruments. Effective September 1, 2009, nearly 900 products offered by SPI will be in stock, and available for immediate shipment.
Under the new program, each applicable product will be calibrated to exacting standards. Once this process is completed, the tool is issued a certificate of calibration stating the actual measurement results and adherence to the performance specifications compared with international standards maintained by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the National Physics Laboratory (NPL).
“To be competitive in today’s market, manufacturers need to be entirely confident in the precision of their measurement tools,” says Allan Neuman, General Manager of SPI. “With this new program, we’ll be providing customers with a definitive guarantee that their tools are of high quality, defect free, and comply with the required standards, and as a result saving them both time and money.”
Unlike other certification programs that include additional fees, every product in SPI’s program will include a traceable certificate at no additional charge. To find out more about SPI’s calibration and certification program, customers can contact SPI in Garden Grove, California, at 888-774-8200 or visit their website at www.swissprec.com.
