The Head of Public Communications, Arik Airlines, Ola Adebanji, discloses that the airline has a signed a contract with Bombardier Aerospace, Canada, for the supply of new aircrafts.
Adebanji says in a press statement issued in Lagos, Nigeria, that Bombardier Aerospace would supply the airline with three CRJ 1000 NextGen aircrafts and four Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners.
“Based on the list price of the CRJ1000 NextGen and Q400 NextGen aircraft, the contract is valued at approximately $297 million (about N44.5 billion).
Adebanji adds that Arik currently operates four CRJ900 aircrafts and two Q400 NextGen aircrafts.
