According to Agence France-Press, Boeing Co. is once again the world's leading airplane manufacturer. Boeing took the title from rival Airbus, who held the distinction since 2006.
Through the first 10 months of this year, Airbus has received orders for 403 airplanes. As of Nov. 9, Boeing has received orders for 1,009 airplanes, according to Agence France-Presse.
One of Boeing's most popular planes is the 737 MAX model which has received 938 orders since its launch in 2011.
Nearly 1,500 A320 Neo planes from Airbus have received orders.
