B/E Aerospace gets AgustaWestland contract

B/E Aerospace Inc., a manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and distributor of aerospace fasteners and consumables, has been selected by AgustaWestland, the Anglo-Italian helicopter company owned by Italy's Finmeccanica, to provide aerospace fasteners and consumables, plus logistical services for its global operations. The majority of the award represents market share gains. The agreement runs through December 2018 and is initially valued at approximately $200 million.

 

B/E Aerospace will supply AgustaWestland with aerospace fasteners and hardware as well as a broad range of consumables. In addition, the company will provide logistical services such as point of use delivery, configured bin management, and kitting services.

B/E Aerospace recently extended and expanded an agreement with United Technologies Corp. (UTC), to provide aerospace fasteners, hardware, consumables, and logistical services to that company’s aerospace business units for its global operations.
