ARINC Engineering Services, LLC has been named a subcontractor on the team of Huntsville, AL basedSystem Studies & Simulation, Inc. (S3), which was recently awarded one of four prime contracts under the U.S. Army’s SMDIS III (Space and Missile Defense Initiative Support) contract vehicle.
The Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (SMDC/ARSTRAT) announced the award in 2009.
The S3 Team with ARINC on board will compete under the five-year SMDIS III contract for task orders not to exceed $450 million, total. ARINC was awarded an early Task Order to provide Scientific, Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) Services for the U.S. Army Forces Strategic Command at Peterson Air Force Base, CO.
