In the first two days of the 2025 Paris Airshow, Airbus obtained or finalized agreements for 180 widebody and narrowbody commercial jetliners. If further options are exercised, the total Airbus aircraft in the orders and memoranda of understanding could reach 288.

AviLease, the global aircraft lessor headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announced an initial order for 10 A350F freighters and 30 A320neo family aircraft. The agreement, which also foresees a future increase to 22 A350F freighters and 55 A320neo family aircraft, was signed at the 2025 Paris Airshow.

“The addition of these latest generation aircraft enhances our ability to offer modern, fuel-efficient fleet solutions to our airline partners in Saudi Arabia and around the world,” said Edward O’Byrne, CEO of AviLease.

LOT Polish Airlines placed a firm order for 20 Airbus A220-100s and 20 A220-300s, marking the first time Poland’s national carrier has selected Airbus aircraft as part of its fleet modernization. The Airbus A220 family aircraft will start joining the fleet in 2027.

Riyadh Air, the new premium international airline based in Saudi Arabia, placed a firm order for 25 A350-1000 aircraft. The agreement potentially increasing the order to 50 A350-1000 was signed in a ceremony attended by H.E Yasir Al-Rumayyan, The Governor of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), Christian Scherer, CEO Commercial Aircraft at Airbus and Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air.

Riyadh Air will become the first airline in Saudi Arabia to operate the A350-1000. It also supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambition to reach 300 million air passengers annually by the end of the decade, positioning the country as a global aviation and tourism hub.

Vietjet, Vietnam’s largest private airline, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus covering a major new order for 100 single-aisle A321neo aircraft, with the potential to add another 50 in the future.

Vietjet Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao said, “These modern and efficient aircraft have been instrumental in Vietjet’s growth, helping us make air travel more accessible and affordable for millions, while strengthening our role as a connector for economic development, cultural exchange, and global connectivity.”

The latest agreement comes just weeks after the airline placed an additional order for A330neo widebody aircraft.

ANA Holdings (ANAHD) finalized an agreement by signing a firm order with Airbus for 24 single-aisle A321neo and three A321XLR.

The order covers 14 additional A321neo for All Nippon Airways (ANA) as well as 10 A321neo and three A321XLR for its group airline Peach Aviation, to upgrade the group’s current fleet.

Peach Aviation will become the first Japanese airline to operate the A321XLR, which has the range to fly up to 4,700nm (8,700km) non-stop.

“We are delighted to have signed the firm order for the introduction of additional A321neo and first A321XLR into our group airlines. We believe that this additional introduction of Airbus aircraft will further deepen our relationship,” said Koji Shibata, Representative Director, President and CEO of ANAHD.

ANA operates 33 A320 family while Peach Aviation operates 36 A320 family aircraft. The A321XLR’s Airspace cabin will provide passengers long haul comfort in all classes.
