Toulouse, France – Students around the world are getting ready to “reach for the skies” with Airbus as the deadline approaches for entering the company’s Fly Your Ideas 2015 contest.
Supported by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the biennial Fly Your Ideas competition challenges teams of 3-5 students to “develop innovative concepts for aviation’s future."
For Round 1, during which teams submit their ideas, Airbus will continue accepting registrations until 12:00 noon GMT Dec. 1, 2014, and project proposals by 12:00 midnight GMT Dec. 1, 2014. At the end of three progressively challenging rounds, the winning team will be selected from five finalists by a panel of Airbus and Industry experts in June 2015. Fly Your Ideas’ top-prize is 30,000 euros, with 15,000 euros awarded to the second-place team.
