Santa Ana, California – AIP Aerospace has acquired Brown Aerospace, a provider of automated drilling and fastening systems for the aerospace industry. Brown will operate as a business unit within the AIP Aerospace Tooling Group.
Brown Aerospace was founded in 2001 and is located near Port Huron, Mich. With a focus on the aerospace industry, Brown provides automated fastening solutions to customers such as Boeing and Spirit.
Mark Brown will continue as the director of operations and brings with him 20 years’ experience with complex aerospace drilling and fastening solutions, including expertise in engineering, operations and sales expertise.
