Poole, Dorset, United Kingdom – AIC Group announces a new partnership with the Advanced Manufacturing Research Center (AMRC) based in Sheffield. AIC will install its latest Autoclave Management and Control Systems (AMCS) into the AMRC and will provide planned preventative maintenance and calibration services.
The AMRC chose AIC’s control system for its larger autoclave. The AMRC runs two autoclaves, the larger of which is 3m in diameter and 5m in length. The smaller autoclave measures 1m x 2m in size. These are used for extensive composite projects with their partners in the composite industry.
AMRC will be able to improve operations by offering a larger capacity to its partners and external customer base. The flexible AMCS will cover the many different autoclave manufacturing operations that the AMRC carries out.
AIC currently services and maintains a number of AMRC partners’ composite autoclaves, highlighting their experience within the aerospace industry.
Conrad Sdao of the AMRC said: “We are excited to have this new system in place to help increase the efficiency of our autoclaves. We know AIC delivers quality and we are glad to have their support and expertise.”
Nigel Clifford, Head of Sales at AIC, said: “We are proud to be working with the AMRC, which is a global leader in research for the manufacturing industry.”
