Thermacore Receives Supply Chain Award

Thermacore Europe Ltd, a leading provider of advanced two-phase, solid conduction and liquid-cooled thermal solutions, announced today that it has received the SC21 bronze award.

SC21 is a change program designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defense industry by raising the performance of its supply chains. It applies and monitors continuous improvement against a wide spectrum of business activities, which is documented in a continuous sustainable improvement plan (CSIP).

Over the past few years, Thermacore Europe has focused on a number of supply chain initiatives, including AS/EN9100 accreditation, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency improvements and achieving the SC21 bronze award.

Thermacore Europe's supply chain program has several key measurable achievements, including:

Company-wide focus on meeting customer delivery dates. Right first time quality, which includes improving trend and zero customer returns from Selex Galileo in last 12 months. Kaizen activities, which includes a dedicated five 'S' team that delivers training and focused projects yielding savings in cost and cycle times. In addition, they produce a monthly newsletter that communicates progress and performance.
