Tulsa-based Limco Airepair Inc. is adding 150 jobs to its aerospace manufacturing operation.
The additional workers will almost double Limco's workforce, which stands at 180 before new hiring begins. Executives told the Tulsa World that the positions are being added as part of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce's Quality Jobs Program.
Officials with the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce say the positions will add $16.6 million to the local economy.
The new jobs are to include welders, machinists, furnace operators, assemblers, stackers and fitters. They'll help build and repair a variety of parts Limco manufactures.
