Harvey Tool Releases September 2011 Catalog

Harvey Tool has released its Fall 2011 Catalog, which features 400 new tools. Multiple product lines have been expanded with additional sizes and reaches, and brand new tools have been added.

The Miniature Multi-Flute High Helix Finishers line now includes a variety of different sizes for material specific tools. Additional sizes are available for Exotic and Aerospace Alloys and Medium Alloy Steels. These end mills are also now offered for Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys. This is a new Harvey Tool product and is considered the smallest multi-flute finisher for Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys on the market, with sizes down to .015 inches.

Harvey Tool has also created a new line of Corner Radius CVD Diamond End Mills. With 5x, 8x, and 12x reaches available, CVD is the supreme coating for graphite, and this particular tool is ideal for machining composites and green carbide/green ceramics. Specialized Harvey Tool geometry reduces chatter and harmonics, especially when milling deep pockets or features. The CVD Diamond Ball End Mills have also been expanded to include a large selection of additional sizes.

Smaller sizes for Mold Cutters are available down to 0.015" and in two different varieties. Type I variety has a shorter reach into a transition, which increases rigidity and Type II variety has a solid neck that tapers out to the shank and allows for maximum reach, without sacrificing rigidity.
