Oklahoma exports increased 21% in 2010 for a total of $5.4 billion, the state Department of Commerce reported Thursday.
Aerospace components remain the state’s most exported product, totaling $330.8 million globally and accounting for 6.2% of the state’s exports. Aerospace related exports have grown 22% from 2006 to 2010.
The state’s second greatest export last year was liquid pumps, which are used in the energy industry. Third was pork, followed by parts for moving and lifting machinery including pulley tackle, winches, moving and excavating equipment, derricks, cranes, forklifts, elevators, conveyors and backhoes.
