Raytheon Company presented supplier excellence awards to thirty companies for their exceptional performance in supporting the company’s Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business during 2009.
The winning suppliers represent less than one percent of SAS’ supply base. They were chosen for meeting demanding standards in the areas of quality and delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and total business and financial health. Evaluations of their performance by the Raytheon buyers and material program managers who deal with them every day were also part of the selection process. Awards were presented at the 3, 4 and 5-Star level, and Trio Tool and Die Company, Inc. received a 3-Star award.
"The men and women serving our country depend on our products in critical and dangerous missions. Our team at Trio Tool and Die Company is committed to the highest standards of excellence and we are honored to be recognized by Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems," said John A. Arroues, company president.
