Toolmex Corporation has announced that they will be the exclusive distributor of Palbit Indexable Carbide in the United States and Canada. The Palbit brand is known as a global supplier of tungsten carbide tooling. "Our products are recognized as technologically advanced, incorporating years of knowledge, on highly complex metallurgy and material science in tungsten carbide powders, high-speed steels, ceramics, diamond, and other materials that are particularly resistant to heat, abrasion, pressure, and wear", said Jorge Ferreira, Palbit Director.
With the addition of the Palbit solutions for turning, milling, drilling, threading, and grooving the Toolmex Indexable line has been extended to offer Toolmex customers New Coatings and Insert Geometries for machining steel, stainless steel, cast-iron or high temperature alloys. The line will also offer New Grades for toughness and wear resistance without sacrificing tool life in the applications that require consistent yet demanding output. The Palbit products will be available in inch and metric to satisfy our broad range of customers.
Palbit indexable carbides represent one of the most comprehensive ranges of carbides available in today's market. "Excellent test results have been confirmed by a number of customers who used the product prior to the introduction today," said Mark Frost, Toolmex Product Manager.
