Dr. Saul “Sonny” Barr to Speak at GFMC

Dr. Saul “Sonny” Barr, author of Aerospace Manufacturing and Design's The Barr Report, and senior aerospace economist and director of Barr Group Aerospace www.barrgroupaerospace.com will spaek at the Global Forecast & Marketing Conference in Clevelnad, OH during  October 18-19, 2011. 

Dr. Barr is a professor emeritus in economics and finance at the University of Tennessee where he served as the statewide Tom Hendrix Chair of Excellence in Private Enterprise. He is Chief Editor of the Journal of Aviation and Aerospace Perspectives (JAAP). Dr. Barr has been a financial consultant to the U.S. Air Force, as well as numerous companies such as Raytheon, Goodyear and Alcoa. He has written several books including The Expeditionary Aerospace Force for the Air Force Institute of Technology. His most recent works are the Aerospace Manufacturing Report in 2009 funded by the U.S. Congress and his Aerospace Economic Report and Outlook 2010 published by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His company hosts the AeroWeb, an online streaming source of news, information and research on the current state and future of aerospace.
