Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) has contracted Harrods Aviation to install modification kits on Sikorsky S-76 helicopters in Europe.
SAS president David Adler said that Sikorsky was continuing to increase its global presence and welcomed opportunities to expand its regional aftermarket support with aviation specialists like Harrods Aviation.
"With a high concentration of Sikorsky operators throughout the EU, our ability to provide modifications regionally is pivotal for servicing this territory," he said.
The two-year agreement will allow SAS to offer custom modifications to S-76 helicopter operators in Europe.
Harrods will purchase the kits directly from Sikorsky and install modifications in the region.
Harrods Aviation offers aircraft maintenance and engineering capability with services at both London Luton and London Stansted locations and a Farnborough-based engine shop.
