Grainger, North America’s leading distributor of facilities maintenance supplies, presents the award annually to a new supplier who demonstrates outstanding performance throughout the year.
Grainger's Best New Supplier Award recognizes a supplier who achieves excellence in several categories, including responsiveness, information integrity, on time shipping, management commitment and order fulfillment. Grainger suppliers receive ratings throughout the year for their performance in each of these categories. Out of several hundred new suppliers, only Sandvik Coromant was chosen to receive this annual award.
“Sandvik Coromant is honored to receive this award in our first full year as a supplier to Grainger,” said Brett Cline, Director, National Channels. “In 2011, we look forward to working even closer with Grainger to service our mutual metalworking customers and help manufacturers become as productive and cost efficient as possible.”
"Grainger is proud to present Sandvik Coromant with the 2010 Best New Supplier Award," said Fred Costello, Grainger Vice President, Product Management. “Grainger provides customers with quick, easy access to the products they need to maintain their facilities, and our suppliers are a critical part of that focus. We appreciate Sandvik Coromant’s commitment to providing superior products and outstanding service to our mutual customers.”
