Real Facilities Inc. (www.realfacilities.com) has announced details of a real estate project with Bristol Aerospace Limited ("Bristol"), a division of Magellan Aerospace, for a new $22-million, 139,000²ft facility for the manufacture of complex fabrications and assemblies. Bristol's launch customer for the new facility is BAE Systems, who contracted Bristol to build horizontal stabilizers for the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II.
Bristol engaged Real Facilities, a leading real estate solutions company, to develop and execute its real estate strategy. Based on Real Facilities' past successes in developing successful solutions for its parent company, Magellan Aerospace, Real Facilities was awarded Bristol's business in June 2009.
