Aerospace Optics Inc. is pleased to announce that Cessna Aircraft Company has selected it as one of two top suppliers for 2009. Each year, Cessna uses a rating classification called STARS – Supplier Tracking and Rating System – to distinguish vendors that have earned the highest marks in the areas of quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
For the past six years, Aerospace Optics has received Cessna STARS awards for vendor excellence. This year, 21 companies were honored, and Aerospace Optics was selected as one of only two Gold suppliers, a distinction that indicates near perfect performance.
“This is a special honor,” said Loren Jensen, president and COO of Aerospace Optics. “To be recognized by Cessna in this way truly validates our commitment to world-class performance.”
