Okuma America Corporation is has announced that Command Tooling Systems LLC from Ramsey MN, has joined Partners in THINC. Command is an American manufacturer of Tooling Systems and the Global partner of EWS Germany. The partnership also includes EWS Korea which builds Turrets and tooling for the Asian market.
Nick Martin, Command’s President, who is very familiar with the Okuma organization is excited to work with Okuma again through Partners in THINC. “As a Partner in THINC we can provide innovative tooling solutions for Milling Centers, Lathes and Multipurpose machines”, he said. Of course we offer the standard products but we also offer products like the Push Slotter (as seen at IMTS), Multi Form and Drill Star. And yes, we manufacture competitively in the USA right here in Ramsey Minnesota. We use e.g. an Okuma LT300 which is fully automated and manufacture quality products consistently. We know Driven and Static tools and if customers require specials we design and make it for them within 6-8 weeks. Sure driven tools require some maintenance so we have factory trained personnel to service the tool(s), regardless of the brand name, and we get it done in the shortest time possible. This partnership is great; as it comes in a year where we celebrate our 30th anniversary and it will reinforce American and German ingenuity in the tooling solutions available for our industry.”
