Former Magellan Aerospace executive Peter Jackson has been named by Northstar Aerospace Inc. as president, Canadian operations.
In his new job, Jackson will be responsible for leading the company's Milton and Windsor, Ont., manufacturing sites.
He was formerly vice-president and general manager for Orenda Aerospace, a division of Magellan, where he was responsible for three manufacturing and repair and overhaul sites.
Northstar said Jackson previously held positions of increasing management responsibility at BMW and General Electric Aircraft Engines Group prior to joining Magellan.
"Peter's leadership skills and his depth of aerospace industry knowledge will be great assets to our company and to our Canadian team," president and CEO Glenn Hess said in a news release.
